Want to Hang Out?

Lukasavige HouseI sent this to my newsletter subscribers earlier this week and I’d love to hang out with you too. 2011 has intentionally been a slow year of business travel for me though and I haven’t had a chance to meet a lot of people.

Over the weekend I had a spur of the moment idea to organize a get-together at my house. That’s my back deck there in the picture.

We’re going to chill out on the deck, amongst the kid’s toys and around our very large (and new) kitchen table. You’ll hear more about that special table soon.

One month from now, September 9-11, nine of us are putting on a Free Agent Academy event in the mountains of Colorado. If you have a business or want to be self-employed I hope you’ll join us. It’s the last event of the year and we’ve lowered the price so you can afford it more easily.

Here’s where it gets fun.

We moved to Colorado to brainstorm, chat, and do life with people who need a break; people who need to get out of their everyday normalness and generate real ideas. People like you.

The FAA event ends on Sunday at 1pm. A few people (and some spouses) have already committed to hanging out at my house in a small group but I can’t guarantee we’ll end up staying there long. Depending on what you want we’ll do a light hike or maybe some easy rock climbing. No experience or gear is needed.

If you’re a Free Agent Academy member this will be completely free. Christine’s cooking dinner so you have a lot to look forward to! We’ll have a chance to talk about you and your ideas and I expect you’ll take away some great stuff to get started on.

Not a member of the Free Agent Academy? That’s fine too, just come hang out! You can always join and get started on your own three day workweek, but if you just want to come and meet my family, some really great people, and me, come on by! It’s only $50 for you.

FAA members: Free.

Non-FAA members: $50.

Obviously this isn’t a money-maker for me. I just want to connect some people and hang out. There’s no sales page to convince you; you’ll either come or you won’t and whatever you decide is fine with me.

Space is limited so if you’re in, contact me and let me know.

See you in September!
