Make Your Blog Shareable – Free Copy of Content Rules

Courmayeur, ItalySeeing 100 comments on a post I write is cool, but in the end I’d rather the ideas just be shared. When people share it with their friends, that’s I know it’s good.

Ann Handley and C.C. Chapman write about how to make your posts shareable in Content Rules and I created a bunch of topics to get people started in today’s Need a Topic.

Ann and C.C. point to a study from the University of Pennsylvania that found readers wanted to share articles that inspire awe.

So it’s not enough to put twitter and facebook sharing buttons on every page. And it’s not just about surprising your readers. Creating true awe takes work and Content Rules will help.

Write an awe inspiring post and link to this page by Monday, April 18 for a chance to win a copy of Content Rules. I’ll use a random number generator to pick a winner next week.

Want to be more profitable in your blogging?
At Need a Topic you’ll get topics, tips, & techniques three times a week to help you stand out from the crowd and make money blogging. Check out the 7-day free trial.

I have to say I am a bad blogger. I don’t like writing as you can tell by my posts are so short and my other blog is video of my kids (www.kidscattle.com). But Need@Topic has helped me try to be more personal. This week I was going to write about a couple of news stories that I liked but instead I posted about an event that is going on in my life write now while staying with the theme of my blog. I need to keep telling myself that people come to my blog to know about my story not someone elses.
    thanks
