Ann and C.C. point to a study from the University of Pennsylvania that found readers wanted to share articles that inspire awe.

So it’s not enough to put twitter and facebook sharing buttons on every page. And it’s not just about surprising your readers. Creating true awe takes work and Content Rules will help.

I have to say I am a bad blogger. I don’t like writing as you can tell by my posts are so short and my other blog is video of my kids (www.kidscattle.com). But Need@Topic has helped me try to be more personal. This week I was going to write about a couple of news stories that I liked but instead I posted about an event that is going on in my life write now while staying with the theme of my blog. I need to keep telling myself that people come to my blog to know about my story not someone elses.
