Justin, a fantabulous tutorial on HootSuite. I’ll get to started setting it up for my personal use this weekend as well as begin planning its implementation for my employer. One question: I recall that you once recommended using HootSuite in conjunction with Ping.fm for a very important reason that now escapes me?

Thanks, Todd. Hootsuite can only send to twitter, linkedin, and facebook. I link ping.fm with hootsuite and open it up to more than 10 other networks.

Are you still using Hootsuite or is there something better out there now?

Hootsuite is it, Brent. Definitely the way to go.

Can I have Hootsuite pull post from other blogs and websites I want to keep up with? I would like to use it to keep up with blogs I like to read.

Yes, but all it can do is share those links within your twitter, linkedin, or facebook feeds.

If you’re looking for a tool to help you, I use google reader, feedly, and the reeder app.
