I think I especially like the last point about collecting data from visitors
to the site so they feel like they're being heard.

This is long, but the detail is worth it . . .

Mark Jones (from 48Days.net) and I bounced around two ideas for promoting the class. With the class coming up so fast, I don't think we could do a quality job of pulling this off, but I did want to let you know about it.

We would purchase the domain name www.doyous3c.com and create a website with video blogs around the idea. We would use my "person on the street idea" for video, and that would allow Andy and you to provide some blog posts. You could then ask some pretty famous people (Gary Vee, for example) write or record posts about what s3c means to them. You could then do some podcast recordings for the various ideas.

Along with this, you would have a Google survey embedded into the site that would collect data on why people want to attend the class. Mark and I would develop a 7-10 question survey with rankings from 1-5 to help collect data on why you're taking the class and what you want to learn about social media. This would provide some hard data about your target market.

#s3c YouTube Video narrated by either Justin, Andy, or both: Have a top ten list similar to Letterman's that asks the question, “The top ten definitions for S3C?” One answer could be the newest droid addition to the Star Wars trilogy! Other answers could have some humor to it but progressively get more serious with hints about what most business owners want/need to achieve with social media. The last answer could be a great one line explanation with a link that points to this course website page.

#s3c promotion idea: create an “Inspired by s3c” badge (website graphic) that attendees are encourage to use on their (new) websites, blogs… The badge will link back to s3c page. This will promote the course and help your SEO as well.

With this 4 week class be available even after you teach it the first time? I don't have money for it now, but would love to attend.

Here's my idea - Well I stole it from Stephen Covey.... I believe it's the essence of what self-employment is all about. Especially for coaches.

Find your voice and help others find theirs. - The 8th Habit. (I know it's way too general, so I have a few more ideas)

- How to effectively use affiliates to grow your business
- The most profitable marketing you can do.... Giving
- How to effectively start a paid membership side of your business (lifetime membership vs. monthly membership, etc.)
- What people really think of your business (Giving away free stuff to customers when they fill out surveys)
- Why not to put prices directly on your website

Just a few... Can you tell I really want to win that free 4 week class?!
