What is coachU?

CoachU is a 2.5 day event where you’ll go behind the scenes with the team at Lukas Coaching and learn what you need to do to make your business profitable.  If you’re tired of running a practice, we’ll help you develop innovative, practical ideas that you can apply to your business as soon as you get home.

There are a many resources out there that touch on the upper-level basics of being a coach.  Dan & Ashley Miller’s Coaching with Excellence is a great opportunity if that describes you.

During our 2.5 days together, we’re going deep.  We’ll talk, see examples, and learn the ins-and-outs of:

• Which metrics to track in your business and why
• How to book speaking engagements
• How to write and publish a book and other products
• Creating a marketing plan for your business
• The role social media plays and how you can do the same
• How to convert prospects to clients (and where to find them)
• How to price your products and services
• Accepting payment from customers (including a detailed look at our system and how we use QuickBooks)
• Podcasting – a complete tutorial using Coach Radio as an example – and you’ll be my guest for a live show!

We’re limiting the group to only six people who are forward-thinkers and ready to break the mold of a mediocre business.  We’re going to share, but also go very deep, similar to 1-on-1 coaching.  It’s something that can’t be done in a large group.

• We’ll cover tagging, uploading, creating a post on the website, and then promoting it to our community.

7 – 8:30 pm

Optional dinner with Justin and Derek and our wives

Optional hike with Justin and Derek

• Bring your hiking shoes. I’m (Justin) taking you on the exact trail I do nearly every Friday afternoon.  We’ll plan to do six miles on a moderate trail, depending on the level of the group.
