Christine and I Talk Story: The Muir House [Book Review]

My wife, Christine, and I read Mary DeMuth’s The Muir House around the same time and really got into the story.

In a rare moment, we recorded a video together. You’ll love Christine’s honesty and her take on the book.

It’s been a few years since I’ve read a fiction book, and The Muir House was worth the read. In particular, I enjoyed following the main character, Willa, as she dug up her past and hunted down missing memories.

In addition to reading the book with Christine (here’s her take), many of Mary’s fans participated in a blog tour. Here are Ben’s thoughts from yesterday. Tomorrow you can stop by Josh’s blog to get his take.

What’s your take? Do you need to know your past in order to create your future?

“Really? You’re an idiot!” ~Christine Lukasavige

If I had a dollar for every time someone has said that to me I would have WAY MORE MONEY than I would like to admit!

    Thanks for crack me up!

I don’t remember her saying that to me, but I think I just tune it out now.

It wasn’t to you. It was what she’d say in response to something a character said. Made me crack up something fierce! ~Ivan
