The thing that sucks about launching a business is that it doesn’t always work. You can’t give up if it’s your dream and that’s what I talk about here.

I’ve been talking with my friend, John Bergquist, about the word rendezvous lately. It’s funny to think that even manly mountain men need to be around other people at times.

High up in the mountains is difficult to find the trail at times. It’s also difficult to mark the trail since there are no trees and it’s difficult to carry supplies to high. Cairns have been created in most wilderness areas to mark the trail and are simply a pile of rocks.
What strikes me about the cairn is that, as a hiker, I get to learn from people who have gone before me. Ironically, that’s the exact thing I did (and still do) to grow my business.
