31 Days to Finding Your Blogging Mojo [Book Review]

31 days to finding your blogging mojoI’m a sucker for non-fiction books that drip with helpful information, so I was happy to receive a review copy of 31 Days to Finding Your Blogging Mojo by Bryan Allain.

Bryan is a humor writer and blog coach so the book ends up with an interesting mix of laugh-out-loud funny but helpful tips.

Over a span of 31 days you’ll get tips, strategies, and techniques to make your blog more successful. Here’s a peek at Day 31.

Here’s how I define success as a blogger:

  1. When you’re writing things that you love to write about.
  2. When your number of readers slowly builds each month because you’re finding new readers and you’re keeping your old ones.
  3. When you’re building relationships and community with readers because they enjoy what you do on your blog.
  4. When your blog gets sponsored by Frito-Lay and they provide you with a lifetime supply of Tostitos with a Hint of Lime. (Note: this probably won’t happen to you.)

That’s where I connected with Bryan. Blogging (and communicating in general) is about doing what you love. You won’t get much of your message across if you’re not having fun creating content around your interests.

The Frito-Lay comment was also pretty funny, so you can see the book will keep your attention.

I’m curious, can one print out a Kindle book?  The traditionalist in me still prints out e-books and such.  I look forward to reading it!

I don’t believe so, Todd, but you can get the PDF at http://31daystomojo.com/.
