Show Topics:

  • More on the recent separation between me and the startup I co-founded
  • Finding a calling before you have money
  • Tampons (not sure how we got here)
  • Broadcasting a show

coachradio-coverLast week I wrote a post where I talked at length about separating (mutually) from the social app I was co-founding. I share more details in the show and on Friday I’ll talk about the next big piece.

Do you think many people find their callings only after becoming financially healthy?

Somehow we end up talking about periods and this rebuttal from Bodyform. Funny stuff.

Nicholas: Hello, which computer program do you use to control the radio show, like Google Radio Automation? Also how did you get a radio station to broadcast on?

Check out this in-depth article on how to podcast if you’d like to learn about getting started.

Enjoyed the show Justin. My only comment is that nothing is guaranteed in life. I have stock in a company that has a patent technology related to edible oils. To make a long story short, the company was this close (insert small space between fingers) to be being bought by a monster international company in 2008. The oil would have essentially replaced partially hydrogenated oils and every other stabilized fat substitute. It would have been in just about every product around the globe. Right now, it’s hung up in court and will probably never see the light of day.

It made me chuckle a little when u talked about passing up millions. Maybe…but probably not.

You’re exactly right, Jack. That made the decision easier, knowing that if we did get there (small chance) it’d take a lot of work.
