Jonathan Brown: What’s the difference between Libsyn and Amazon S3?

Nathan: I’m launching an online Christian guitar lesson business in 5 days. We’re doing a launch party and I’m sending out an email to my list of former guitar students (about 100 people) to spread the word. After that, what would be the first marketing strategy you would use?

Maybe you’ll be surprised that I talk about direct mail for local businesses.

Randell: Hey Justin, several months ago I  asked for your recommendation for speech to text software. You recommended Dragon Naturally Speaking. I wanted to let you know that it’s amazing! Once you setup your initial profile, which takes less than an hour of reading some predetermined scripts, you are on your way. Dragon continues to get more accurate as you use it, because it continues to update your profile automatically.

Other than a video blog, my last 8 blog posts have been created completely using Dragon with very limited editing. I’ve also been using Dragon to write the manuscript for my book. For anyone who  is like me, and prefers talking over writing, I highly recommend it.

Thanks again for recommending it, it has helped me a great deal.

Just listened to the podcast… thanks for the shoutout Josh. :)

I do use AmazonS3 for video hosting and currently have about 20-25 videos ranging from 1 minute to about 10 minutes and pay a whole whopping $0.39 /month. Right now it is just for storage, it would cost a bit more if the videos were played on a regular basis.

Wow, that’s helpful, Marta. And affordable.
