Matt Wegner called in with a great tip on establishing yourself as an expert. Check out Matt’s article on yahoo finance and then sign up to HARO.
I mentioned the Six Figure Coaching model. Take a listen and I’ll tell you why it works but also why I don’t follow it.
The “Mother Teresa Syndrome” is something I catch a lot of flack over. Mother Teresa did some great things, but business could have helped the Calcutta culture similarly. Listen to find out what I mean.
Rabbi Daniel Lapin is the inspiration for this episode. His book is Thou Shall Prosper.
Scott Priestly called to say that he just launched smallbizcopilot.com.
I was interviewing a guest on Coach Radio when he mentioned an online service that I just needed to check out.
Right away testimonials for the service began scrolling in a twitter feed. That wasn’t unusual, but one of my friends popped into the box right away. Instantly I recognized his picture.
Be everywhere
It’s easy to be everywhere if you’re providing value. Do what comes natural. Answer questions even when there’s no compensation. It takes time, but so does bathing and that seems to work out well for most people.
When you’re everywhere you’re top of mind. Ask any marketer if that’s good. That’s what most of them spend hours per week trying to figure out for companies.

016 Coach Radio – Establish Credibility
Send me your feedback or questions or leave me a voice mail: (919) 355-8275.
Eric had questions on teaching other people’s material, such as Dave Ramsey, Dan Miller and us. I discuss how to do it without stealing and infringing on copyright material. You should personally lead through material if you want to be positioned as an expert.
Eric’s question stemmed from listening to Coach Radio #12.
Email derek@lukascoaching.com if you’d like to make the Past Due: Money and Life Boot Camp your own material. You’re free to do so.
Can you repackage material and make it your own? Yes, it’s been said there aren’t many original thoughts out there. But packaging and marketing are very powerful.
I also discussed two very important concepts if you want to be profitable. You need to figure out how you’re both unique and remarkable.
Sample Forecast

You probably need about 10 people to request consultation that will show up to meet with you.
Marketing is the outcome. Now you need to figure out what you’re going to do to find these 10 people.
