Great quote from Joel. “Let’s take those valuable lessons you’ve learned from your personal and professional life and then use them to build upon the going forward piece.” That is EXACTLY how I’m building abetterwayofbusiness.wordpress.com. I’m looking at all the places I’ve seen in my numerous jobs from the past where I said, “There’s got to be a better way!” and I’m writing about those.

Another great point by Joel.Get started and take the first step. You do not have to have everything figured out prior to starting. You only have to figure out the first step. The pray for the next step and keep moving.

What a great thought. I STILL keep thinking I’ve got to figure out EVERYTHING. Fortunately my desire for action is winning out right now, but my natural tendency is to figure everything out before doing anything. This just keeps you from doing ANYTHING, b/c you’ll never figure it all out.

Also, this is a HUGE recurring theme. GET OUT THERE AND DO SOMETHING! Even if it’s not perfect. DO SOMETHING!

I think you said Archie from the audience gave this last great line. “You don’t have to be great to start. But you do have to start to be great!”
