I like that Derek used speaking to help generate clients. I want to go down the same path. But I’d also like to make speaking a revenue stream. Looking forward to learning how at the Speak it Forward Boot Camp.

Also, I think it was Derek that mentioned the “No” can be scary for people. I agree. I hate hearing “No”. To me, especially with my past mindset and even still a little with my present mind set, “no” equals “failure”. And failure is a crippling thought to me. It’s one of the areas I want to address in my life, the fear of failure. I need to figure out how I can put myself in situations where failure is a valid result but not a predetermined result. I figured the only way to break this fear is to experience and then realize it didn’t kill me.

And Derek and you keep referencing “nurture marketing”. Where would you recommend I learn more about this?

Speaking has probably been the thing that’s grown my business the most,
    Ivan.

Check out the book, Nurturing Customer Relationships. Great for reaching
    businesses.
