Brent Green is a Career Coach in Kansas City, KS.

Brent helps his clients find their true self and connecting it to meaningful work.  His background is teaching English in Eastern Europe.

Brent says he’s still in the process of learning and growing his passion and business to match.

Andrew asks “What propelled your growth?” Brent: authenticity

How to find your passion: the books you read, looking back at the video games you’ve played, the experiences you’ve had, your dreams.

Hardest challenge?  Making the initial investment of faith and getting started.

How he’s getting the word out: writing for local newspaper, social media, creating quality content, being authentic and serving people.

Two things hit me about this.

First, smiling. It’s so easy. Some folks make fun of it. But I do not know of an easier way to change my mood and the person’s I am interacting with mood than to smile. It’s such a simple thing to do that can have such a large impact. I like the fact that when I go get my allergy shots each week I’m known as Mr. Smiles.

Second thing, I like that yall addressed the fact that what you loose yourself in doesn’t not have to be a classic work example. It can be video games, or reading, or making YouTube videos. I find that there is VERY little about traditional work that will make me lose my sense of time. Especially since I tend to track my time constantly so I can make myself more efficient. But there are many things outside of work that I frequently loose myself in.
